Graduates in the field of Exercise Science may work in rehabilitation, helping individuals gain strength or recover from injury. They may work with athletes as trainers, or become wellness coaches. Jobs in all sectors of the exercise science field are in high demand. For example, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts jobs for fitness trainers and instructors will grow 39% -- much faster than average – between now and 2030.
A Pennsylvania Western University alumna has made history as the first female full-time athletic trainer for the Green Bay Packers. Erin Roberge ’22, has worked with the Packers organization since 2020. She earned her master’s degree in exercise science from PennWest California in December.
