Graduates with an MA in Art Education are qualified to work in a variety of fields. Typically, they work as educators in public schools, museums and community art centers, but many choose to put their talents to work in galleries, as museum specialists or art or educational consultants.

Admissions Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in visual art, art education, or related arts field from a regionally accredited institution
  • Cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or greater
  • Teacher certification or professional interest in working in community arts and museum settings
