Are you ready to build your future at PennWest Global Online? First-year students are new college students pursuing and undergraduate degree and have obtained a high school diploma or GED. Before your begin your admissions application, please review the following steps.

What Makes Us Different?

At PennWest Global Online, we want you to take charge of your education and design your future. When you graduate, you will graduate from Pennsylvania University of Pennsylvania. The same award-winning professors who teach in our classrooms will also be teaching you online. And, you will be supported with a community of learnings on our brick-and-mortar campuses. Admissions Process

Step 1 - Review Requirements

To be considered for regular admission, we expect you to complete a rigorous high school curriculum that provides you with the skills and knowledge required for college and career success.

Languate Arts and Literacy - Content may include language, communication, writing composition, research, logic, technical and business reading and writing, informational text, media, and literature.

Math - Content that incorporates the equivalent of Algebra I, Geometry and a third-year course in either Algebra II or a rigorous course based in Probability/ Statistics. Mathematics or mathematical-based science taken in senior year is highly recommended.

Science - Content that incorporates the equivalent of biology (with lab), chemistry (with lab) and other inquiry-based lab or technical science, such as physics, engineering, environmental, or Earth science.

Social Studies - Content that incorporates the equivalent of civics, U.S. history, world history, geography and economics and provides students an understanding of the influence of heritage, cultural context, diversity and global perspectives.

Step 2 - Submit Your Application
Complete the undergraduate admission application online. To get started, click "Apply Now" to visit the application portal and log in or create a new account. You will be required to submit a non-refundable, $30 application fee for undergraduate programs.
Step 3 - Send In Your Transcripts

For first-year admission, request to have your transcripts sent directly to PennWest from each educational institution you attended.

Step 4 - Request ACT or SAT Scores
Optional
Request your ACT or SAT scores be sent directly to PennWest from ACT or from the College Board, for SAT scores.
Step 5 - Submit Letters of Recommendation and a Personal Essay
Optional

Letters of recommendation and a personal essay are optional to submit for review during the application process. You will be considered for admission to PennWest after careful review of your high school record, academic coursework and SAT/ ACT scores. Attention is given to your personal essay, extracurricular activities and letters of recommendation, if submitted.
